I started playing guitar at age 16' at least i think i was 16? im not quite sure how old i was but i was only young' ..
my brother had bought a guitar and was taking lessons of of my cousin' and i was just sat looking at my brother learning how to play'
i asked if i could join in but my cousin laughed and said' my fingers were too fat to play'
i was always working with scrap metal' and so my fingers were always swollen'
but  then one day i just picked up his guitar and started to play all that my brother and my cousin was learning' . i had never had a lesson' but it just came naturally' and by ear' and so soon i was playing around stick fires and weddings'..

i now play guitar' fiddle 'and mandolin '
..
i wasn't relay into any one type of music 'so i started to make up my own songs'.
i had never been to school so when ever i wrote a song i would have to shout for my mother to come and write the words down so i wouldn't forget them'. this was a bit awkward if i was writing at 3am' but to here credit she would always get out of bed and write my words down'
she has a lot of faith in me and i in her'..
.
i have played many gigs including blackpool winter gardens and the royal albert hall.. radio one road show' battle of the bands blackpool and bbc radio kent' bbc radio 4.
and radio blackpool''
i have wrote songs for joe longhorn 'and  Liz dawn aka Vera Duckworth'
coronation street.
.
.
i took some time of of playing and writing' iv never been into fame or limelight or any of that life style' but im starting to write and play again  thanks to family and friends' and i love doing it'. Leeboy.
